Banana Discotheque is a good place to start if you are young and like dancing. Downstairs is a bar with live music. The Banana Disco is located on beach road around 50 meters from the western end of the Soi Bangla. Banana Disco is probably Patong’s most popular late-night venue. Conveniently located on the beach road, there is often a live band strumming at the bar in front until around 11pm. Otherwise, DJs play mostly house music. The Banana Disco closes at 2:00 a.m. which is pretty early for Patong. Drinks cost THB 100, no matter what you are drinking. The entrance fee of THB 100 includes the first drink.
