If you are planning the perfect getaway or vacation, you can choose to visit the island of Phuket and you will enjoy perfect weather no matter when you plan your trip. Phuket’s climate conditions are ideal almost all year round. In the next few minutes, you will understand why.
Phuket is the largest of the islands off of the coast of Thailand. The island is lined with mountains that cover over 70% of the land, which make most of the livable area close to the outer rim of the island. This ensures that there will always be plenty of sun during your trip.
If you are ever to worry about experiencing a rainy day during your get away, you just need to take a visit during the dry season. The island normally experiences a dry season between November and April, during which there is very little rainfall. In fact, during this period the island usually receives less than 2 inches of precipitation each month.
During the rainy season, which spans from May to October, the island may experience anywhere from six to fifteen inches of precipitation each month. All of this rain helps to nourish the lush green landscape.
The weather in Phuket gets even better when you look at average temperatures. During the year of 2009, the island never experienced an average low temperature that was below 73 degrees Fahrenheit (23 degrees Celsius). But you never have to worry about it getting too hot either. The average high temperature during 2009 was never higher than 91 degrees Fahrenheit (33 degrees Celsius).
Phuket climate conditions could be described as ideal all year round. Temperatures remain comfortable, never falling below 73 degree F (23C) and never soaring much above 91 degrees F (33C). No matter when you choose to take your getaway vacation, you are sure to have great weather anytime.
